(13th Congress) - The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee on November 5 held a meeting to collect suggestions on the draft documents to the 13th National Party Congress.

Speaking at the meeting, VFF President Tran Thanh Man urged the delegates to make deep contributions to reinforcing and promoting national solidarity, the tasks of the VFF and socio-political organizations, as well as people’s unions to satisfy the requirements for national development in the new period.
A majority of delegates agreed that the draft documents had been painstakingly prepared, showing new points, profound assessments, and new thoughts and vision, and pointed out important achievements as well as weaknesses.
Some stressed the need to unify the assessments on some certain issues, especially the forecast on the world, regional and domestic situation in the upcoming time, while the others said the draft documents should use easy-to-understand words and phrases.
Addressing the meeting, Hoang Trung Hai, Politburo member appreciated the contributions, pledging that the Sub-Committee of the 13th National Party Congress Documents would continue to complete the draft documents to be submitted to the congress./.
