(13th Congress) - The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee on October 26 held a meeting to collect suggestions from key cadres from the union, the Vietnam Youth Federation, the Vietnam Students’ Association and the Central Young Pioneers’ Association, to the draft documents to be submitted to the 13th National Party Congress.

According Nguyen Anh Tuan, Standing Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and President of the Vietnam Youth Federation, the suggestions have been collected in diverse ways, including in regular meetings of the youth union at all levels; in forums, seminars and workshops; through the Internet and social networks; and through the press of the youth unions.
“All the suggestions have been sent to the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Sub-Committee on Documents and Party Building Departments,” he said. “The suggestions have been appreciated, making it a practical activity to welcome the 13th National Party Congress.”
Praising the prompt suggestions of the youth union to the draft documents, Truong Thi Mai, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC Commission on Mass Mobilization stressed that the youth was always a driving force for long-term strategic vision set in the draft documents.
She urged agencies to continue to make thorough research on the youth’s suggestions to contribute effective ideas to the draft documents.
During the meeting, new points set in the draft documents, including the orientations on growth renewal, digital transformation, attraction of high quality human resources, and the building of value of Vietnamese people, aroused much attention from youngsters./.
