(13th Congress) – A meeting was held on October 27 by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee to collect outstanding young intellectuals’, lecturers’, pupils’ and students’ suggestions on the draft documents to be submitted to the 13th National Party Congress.

During the meeting, 150 young intellectuals coming from universities, colleges, institutes and educational foundations focused on discussing and contributing ideas to the draft political report to the 13th National Party Congress, the draft report on the realization of socio-economic development strategy from 2011-2020 and the development of the socio-economic development strategy from 2021-2030; and the draft report reviewing Party building in the 12th National Party Congress.
They confirmed that the draft documents had been built painstakingly, strictly, convincingly and scientifically, which they said successfully put forth orientation and solutions to attract talented persons to the national development.
Proposing some words and phrases to the draft documents to clarify the Party leadership and solidarity in the Party, they also gave assessments on weaknesses in administrative reform; policies in training investment resources for localities, promoting innovation and science technology, as well as issues relating to education and training.
Speaking at the meeting, Do Van Phoi, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee Commission of Mass Mobilization, appreciated the youth’s suggestions, confirming that they contributed to increasing the quality of the draft documents, creating a consensus in the Party, people and army in realising the upcoming 13th National Party Congress resolution.
He pledged to fully transfer the youth’s suggestions to authorised Party agencies for completion of the draft documents./.
