(13th Congress) – On November 2, the Presidium of the Vietnam Women’s Union held an online meeting to make comments on the 13thNational Party Congress draft documents, with an aim to increase capacity in protecting women’s legal and legitimate rights and interests.

According to Ha Thi Nga, President of the Vietnam Women’s Union, this was the 3rd among 4 meetings held by the organization to collect ideas from female entrepreneurs, intellectuals, experts and union members, to contribute to the draft documents.
The 13th National Party Congress draft documents continue to affirm the key political role of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, including the Vietnam Women's Union, in promoting the people's mastery right.
During the meeting, representatives of the provincial and city Women's Unions focused on discussing two topics, including the core political role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in promoting the strength of national solidarity and socialist democracy; and people’s mastery right, and the voice of all classes of women towards the Party.
According to Vice Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh city Women's Union Tran Thi Huyen Thanh, it was necessary to add an orientation to complete the legal and policy system in order to bring into play the key political role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, especially in social inspection and feedback./.
