(13th Congress) Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Linh, Deputy Head of the Theoretical Council of the Communist Party of Vietnam's Central Committee, has said the draft documents of the 13th National Party Congress promote the solidarity of the whole nation, and people’s democracy is the thought throughout the documents.

He made the statement during a meeting training journalists on disseminating the contents of the draft documents of the 13th Party Congress, held by the Party Central Committee Commission on Popularization and Education on October 30.
According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Linh, the draft political report includes 15 large headings covering 15 large issues, especially the realization of the 12th National Party Congress resolution, and the country’s development after 35 years of renewal process. Accordingly, the economic growth rate was reported at 6.8% in the 2016-2019 period, with the economic scale increasing by 1.4 times compared to 2016, while GDP per capita increased and the inflation rate was controlled.
He added that the entire Party, people and army had strived to overcome many difficulties and challenges to successfully realise key objectives and achieve many important results. The country continues to develop rapidly and quite comprehensively in many fields, making many outstanding marks.
The macro economy develops stably and continuously, becoming one of the fastest growing economies in the region and the world; with competitiveness, potential and economic scale raised. The building and rectifying of the Party and the political system has received special attention, creating many positive changes.
Addressing the meeting, Le Manh Hung, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee Commission on Popularization and Education, said there are 4 channels to receive people’s contributions to the 13th National Party Congress draft documents, including through Party Congresses; people’s ideas, ideas from intellectuals, scientists and press; and ideas through people contributing to the press and Party organizations./.
