(13th Congress) - The Vietnam Fatherland Front Consulting Councils’ members made suggestions to the draft documents to the 13th National Party Congress during a meeting held on October 28.

Addressing the meeting, VFF President Tran Thanh Man stressed that the members’ suggestions would help plan important policies of the country, and improve the quality of draft documents submitted to the 13th National Party Congress; make the Party's will consistent with the people's hearts; and create a high consensus in the Party, people and the army, successfully implementing the 13th National Party Congress resolution.
During the meeting, delegates focused their comments on the draft political report to deepen some issues, including further clarifying the role of culture as the social spiritual foundation; evaluating the results achieved before and after the renewal process; preventing corruption; realizing people's right of mastery; enforcing laws synchronously with the building of the legal system; increasing the quality of healthcare; boosting economic cooperation; foreign affairs; Vietnamese human factors and human development; environment; and forecast of the upcoming situation.
Recognizing delegates’ suggestions, Truong Thi Mai, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC Commission of Mass Mobilization, affirmed that the commission would continue to listen to and collect the suggestions to transfer to the Sub-Committee on Documents for continued completion of the draft documents./.
