Youngsters make practical contributions to National Party Congress draft documents

The members confirmed that the draft documents had been developed painstakingly with high quality. The draft documents give an exact assessment of the country's situation in the past five years (2015-2020) and after 35 years of renewal process (1986-2020), according to the young members.

Delegate Le Thi Lan, Secretary of the Me Linh district Communist Youth Union, Hanoi, proposed the draft documents mention the terms of training. “Youngsters should spend less time doing examinations and more time for research and practicing,” she said.

Regarding socio-economic development solutions and tasks in the 2021-2025 period, especially the issue of increasing the quality of human resources in connection with enhancing innovation and application of science and technology, she said that it was necessary to add contents on attracting scientific and technological human resources, as well as Vietnamese young intellectuals, by promoting social rotation to serve the development of economic regions.

Representing rural youngsters, delegate Nguyen Thi Thu Hoai from Ninh Binh province proposed to bring the issue of environmental protection and ecosystem protection in the report on the implementation of the 10-year socio-economic development strategy 2011-2020, and the development of the 10-year socio-economic development strategy for 2021-2030. Along with that, it is necessary to have effective solutions in poverty reduction in remote and border areas, associated with making the investigation and review of poor households close to reality. She also suggested the draft documents work out solutions to environmental pollution caused by industrial production, and the abuse of plant protection drugs in agricultural production.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee of Mass Mobilization Do Van Phoi highly appreciated the youngsters’ contribution to the draft documents, pledging to receive the suggestions and submit them to the Sub-Committee on Documents of the 13th National Party Congress./.
