(13th Congress) - On August 12th, the Thai Binh provincial Party Committee and the PCC Commission for Economics organized a conference to comment on the draft political report of the 20th Thai Binh Party Congress (term 2020-2025).

Mr. Nguyen Van Binh and Mr. Ngo Dong Hai, PCC alternate member and Secretary of the Thai Binh Party Committee, chaired the conference.
At the conference, delegates focused on analyzing and clarifying outstanding results, especially shortcomings, limitations and experiences which are the foundations to reposition the direction of socio-economic development for the 2020-2025 period, to 2030 and a vision to 2045.
Speaking at the event, Politburo member, Secretary of the PCC and Head of the PCC Commission for Economics Nguyen Van Binh asked delegates to contribute more ideas in the spirit of responsibility, construction and efficiency; especially suggesting orientations for Thai Binh to maximize potentials and advantages for rapid and sustainable development in the 2020-2025 period.
The Head of the PCC Commission for Economics recognized and hailed achievements the province made; especially successfully implementing key objectives, key tasks and completing most targets of the Resolution of the 19th provincial Party Congress.
He applauded comments at the conference and the draft prepared by the province, while noting that building the political report for the next term and the following years must be based on impacts of the COVID-19 epidemic.
He suggested that the province should take agriculture, farmers and rural areas as the foundation for the coming years, have vision to develop industry and service, and realize planning for rapid and sustainable socio-economic development./.
