MoIT’s Party Committee has new Secretary

The Party Congress of MoIT is an upper grassroots level Party Congress, which was attended by 245 Party members, representing 2,179 Party members from 69 Party cells.

Over the past term, upholding the resilient revolutionary tradition and solidarity, dynamism and creativity, as well as closely following the leadership and direction of the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc, the Executive Board of the MoIT’s Party Committee has been united and determined, and endeavored to lead and direct its Party cells to coordinate with the same-level authorities to raise the sense of responsibility, overcome difficulties and challenges, and successfully implement the Resolution of the 2nd Party Congress of MoIT for the 2015-2020 term.

The 2020-2025 term is forecast to take place in the context of a complicated and unpredictable international situation due to the impact of adverse factors such as natural disasters, epidemics, and political, economic and social conflicts and divisions around the globe.

During the congress, the delegates discussed the direction and tasks for the new term, focusing on improving the leadership and fighting capacity of the Party cells, promoting the exemplary pioneering role of officials, Party members, and successfully completing political tasks and Party building work for the 2020-2025 term.

The delegates also agreed to promote the spirit of solidarity, democracy, innovation and creativity, raise the morality, responsibility of being an example, and determination to successfully implement the Resolution of the 3rd Party Congress of MoIT for the 2020 – 2025 term.

The Party Congress elected the new Executive Board, including 34 members, and Deputy Minister Hoang Quoc Vuong was elected as the Secretary of the Party Committee of the MOIT with 34/34 votes.

Deputy Minister Hoang Quoc Vuong was born in 1963 and graduated from MGRI mine in Moscow, Russia. Before working at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, he was a Deputy Chairman of the Thai Nguyen provincial People's Committee./.
