(13th Congress) – Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC Commission on Organization chaired an online meeting with 70 locations across the country, on the organization of the Party building sector on August 3.

During the meeting, he urged the whole sector to well conduct COVID-19 preventive measures, give consultancy and instruct the organization of above grassroots level Party Congresses, and thoroughly prepare for the centrally governed Party Congresses towards the 13th National Party Congress.
He stressed the need to inspect the implementation of the central level’s guidelines, resolutions and regulations on personnel work, especially personnel for Party Executive Committees. “Selected persons should be of sufficient quality, capacity and prestige; and selected through democratic and unbiased process,” he said.
He noted that serious punishment should be imposed on those who arranged positions for their relatives who are not prestigious or are selected through a process lacking in democracy, to the Party Executive Committees./.
