The Politburo appreciated and praised the important and outstanding results of the Central Military Commission in implementing its entrusted missions, including public mobilisation, foreign relations and successful business operations.

Besides, the Politburo highlighted the Vietnam People’s Army’s strength and combat preparedness together with effective defence diplomacy, which have made important contributions to defending the nation and improving the country’s prestige on the international arena.

The Central Military Commission has regularly grasped, concretized and seriously implemented the Party's political and military guidelines; upheld the principle that the Party takes the absolute and direct leadership in all aspects of the Vietnam People's Army; and effectively handled situations, not being passive and letting unexpected events happen, especially in the East Sea situation, contributing to firmly protect the nation and maintaining a peaceful environment.

The Politburo and PCC Secretariat also spoke highly of the efforts made by the Binh Duong, Quang Ngai, Bac Lieu, Dak Nong and Kien Giang provincial Party Committees, which they said had created more comprehensive socio-economic development, reinforced Party and political system building, and ensured national defence and security as well as social order. They also analysed their experience drawn in the construction and development of each locality over the past 5 years.

Based on the conclusions of the Politburo and Secretariat members, the Party Committees will continue to complete the draft documents and personnel plans for the successful organization of Party Congresses term 2020-2025./.
