According to the Long An Provincial Party Committee, the Party Congresses at upper grassroots level for the 2020-2025 term in the province have been organized seriously, meeting the requirements of content and progress.

Preparations for Party Congresses at upper grassroots level in the province took place in the context of the whole political system realizing dual goals, focusing both on COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control, and on socio-economic development. Party Congresses at upper grassroots level in the locality strictly follow Directive 35-CT/TW by the Politburo and the instructions and guiding documents of the central agencies.  

Party organizations and leaders of agencies, units and localities have strengthened political and ideological education, regularly grasping the situation and ideological developments of cadres, Party members and people to promptly direct or propose leaders to handle arising urgent problems. Communications have been promoted in various forms, creating an atmosphere of excitement in political activities among the Party Committees and people.

The Standing Board of the Long An Provincial Party Committee has directed localities to prepare documents of Party Congresses to ensure the requirements of innovation and be close to the actual situation. The preparation of the content of Party Congresses’ documents is implemented closely, adjusted and supplemented by comments of Party congresses at upper grassroots level.

The localities in the province step up the implementation of the plan in 2020 and build an action program to bring the Party Congresses' resolutions to life.

In terms of personnel preparation for Party Congresses, the executive boards of Party Committees also paid due attention to personnel work. Most personnel meet the standards and conditions stipulated in Regulation 126-QD/TW by the Politburo; strictly follow the 5-step process of re-election and first election; association with preparation of key personnel for People's Councils and People's Committees at district level for the 2021-2026 term. Due to the preparation of personnel being implemented strictly, most delegates at Party congresses at upper grassroots level agreed with reports on personnel plans; Election at Party Congresses has ensured the provisions of the Party's Charter, the Party's election regulations; and meeting the requirements of Directive 35-CT/TW of the Politburo.

Agencies and units in the province are trying to implement their tasks, responding to emulation movements towards the 11th Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term.

Long An province continues to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement Directive 35-CT/TW of the Politburo; focus on grasping the internal situations in localities after Party Congresses; focus on directing units and localities to arrange and appoint to stabilize cadres after Party Congresses; implementing regimes and policies promptly for personnel not re-elected according to regulations; building working regulations and full-course work programs; thoroughly grasping resolutions of Party Congresses to the Party members and people.

Importantly, the province needs to well prepare the 11th Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term as planned. During the preparation process, it must show high political determination; and well organize communications activities practically and efficiently. At the same time, it should promote emulation movements, association with studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style at levels, branches, localities to gain achievements to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels./.
