(13th Congress) - Visiting the southern province of Ben Tre on July 20th, Nguyen Van Binh, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC Commission on Economics, appreciated its effective implementation of Politburo Directive 35 on Party Congresses at all levels towards the 13th National Party Congress.

Addressing the meeting, Phan Van Mai, PCC member and Secretary of the Ben Tre provincial Party Committee, said that the directive had been mastered and carried out by key cadres at provincial and district levels.
He added that personnel work, documents and other conditions serving the provincial Party Congress, which was scheduled on October 7th-9th, had been thoroughly prepared in accordance with procedures and regulations.
During the meeting, Nguyen Van Binh suggested that the provincial Party Committee should draw experience from the organization of grassroots Party Committee to promote strengths and avoid weaknesses in the preparation and organization of upper grassroots level and provincial Party Congresses, term 2020-2025.
Regarding the building of documents for the provincial Party Congress, he urged the province, in its draft political report submitted to the congress, to pay attention to include the content of establishing links between Ben Tre province with other regions of the country and solutions to climate change to create stable and long-term development.
He expressed his hope that the province, with its determination and aspiration, as well as the care from the central level, would report rapid and sustainable development in the future./.
