On the afternoon of September 21, 322 delegates attending the 20th Ha Nam provincial Party Congress, for the term 2020-2025, heard the announcement of the election results of the new Provincial Party Committee.
Accordingly, 48 comrades were elected to the Executive Board of the Provincial Party Committee for the term 2020-2025.
Le Thi Thuy re-elected as Secretary of Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee
At the first session of the 20th Provincial Party Committee, the members of the Executive Board elected the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Commission of Inspection and Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee Commission of Inspection.
Le Thi Thuy was born on January 7 in 1964 in the central province of Nghe An. In July 2019, she was assigned by the Politburo to join the Executive Board, the Standing Board and hold the position of Secretary of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee for the 2015-2020 tenure.
The overview of the congress
Ha Nam Provincial Party Congress gathered former Party and State leaders, leaders of the central and provincial authorities, and 322 delegates representing over 50,600 Party members.
According to a draft political report for the 2015 – 2020 tenure presented at the congress, local Party building work has achieved positive progress, particularly in streamlining apparatus.

The local average annual socio-economic development was 10.1 percent, ranking 2nd in the Red River Delta and 4th nationwide. Its agricultural and industrial production value during the period were estimated at over 39 trillion VND and 470 trillion VND (1.67 billion USD and 20.24 billion USD), which meant average annual increases of 1.12 and 14.4 percent, respectively./.
