The 26th Government Office Party Congress was held on August 26, in Hanoi.

In his speech at the closing ceremony, Minister and Chairman of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung stressed that after one day and a half of active and serious working, with high responsibility, the Congress has completed all programs.

The Congress discussed, analyzed and evaluated five years of implementation of the Resolution of the 25th Government Office Party Congress in the 2010-2015 term; clarifying advantages and shortcomings in leadership, and guidance to draw lessons to overcome in the future.

It discussed and approved Documents of the Executive Board of the Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term, approved the report of collecting comments on the draft document submitted to the 13th National Party Congress and draft document of the Central Agencies Bloc’s Party Committee and Resolution and action program to implement the Resolution.

The Congress elected the Executive Board of the Party Committee (term 2020-2025) including 25 members, ensuring structure, inheritance, female and young cadres. The congress believes that the Executive Board can lead the successful implementation of goals and tasks set by the Resolution of the 26th Government Office Party Congress.

Delegates also elected 5 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate to attend the Central Agencies Bloc Party Congress (term 2020-2025)./.
