Diverse large projects inaugurated to welcome central province’s Party Congress

On October 20, the Thanh Hoa provincial People’s Committee worked with the Lam Son Sugar Cane Joint Stock Corporation (Lasuco) to inaugurate plants to process protein-rich brown rice milk and sugarcane cell nutritious water. 

Accordingly, the plant to process protein-rich brown rice milk has a capacity of 120 million boxes per year, using a capital of over VND200 billion and equipment mainly imported from Germany and Japan. Its products started to be produced in October and are now being consumed across 1,000 domestic agents.

The plant to process sugarcane cell nutritious water with a capacity of 120 million boxes per year uses the most advanced technology from Germany, using a capital of VND245 billion. Being put into operation since March, the plant has supplied products into the market since April.

The 4 major projects are also being inaugurated from October 17-25 to welcome the provincial Party Congress, including a textile fiber factory combined with the development of herbal material areas in Cam Tu commune, Cam Thuy district. This is the project of An Phuoc Import Export and Production Development and Investment Joint Stock Company, with a total capital of VND634 billion. The factory going into operation will create jobs for people in 12 districts.

Nghi Son steel rolling mill project invested by Nghi Son Iron and Steel Joint Stock Company will be inaugurated on October 23. Using a capital of more than VND4.9 trillion, it is considered the largest steel mill in Vietnam with a total capacity of up to 2.25 million tons of steel per year.

The fifth project which will be inaugurated on October 25 is the road from the National Highway 1A to the beginning of the East-West 4 route to Nghi Son Port. It is invested with VND1.479 trillion by the Management Authority of the Nghi Son Economic Zones and Industrial Zones./.
