(13th Congress) – Hanoi continues to create favorable conditions to attract FDI investors, especially in hi-tech, said Politburo member and Secretary of Hanoi Party Committee Vuong Dinh Hue, while receiving representatives from FDI enterprises operating in the high technology industry on January 19.

At the working session, Secretary Vuong Dinh Hue informed major FDI enterprises in the hi-tech industry of some outstanding results in the implementation of socio-economic development tasks and orientation for the city’s investment attraction in the coming years.
Leading officials of 5 major FDI investment groups highly lauded the improvement of Vietnam’s business investment climate in general, and Hanoi in particular, that created favorable conditions for enterprises to develop. They showed their hope to expand production or shift the most important production lines to Hanoi.
KBC Chairman Dang Thanh Tam also said he wants to take advantage of the capital city’s ideal conditions for his investment projects, thus helping attract more FDI for the city.
General Director of Foxconn Vietnam Zhuo Xianhong said that the position near the airport and high-quality human resources are the advantages of Hanoi in developing hi-tech industries
Secretary Vuong Dinh Hue welcomed shares of the FDI firms while affirming that besides large industrial parks, Hanoi now has Hoa Lac hi-tech park with about 700ha open to welcome investors./.
