Accordingly, the Chairman of the Election Committee of Hau Giang province is Mr. Tran Van Huyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council.

Standing Deputy Chairman of the Election Committee is Mr. Dong Van Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and      Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.

Deputy Heads of the Election Committee include Ms. Thai Thu Xuong, Chairwoman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front; Mr. Truong Canh Tuyen, Standing Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; and Mr. Truong Thanh Binh, Head of the Legal Department of the provincial People’s Council.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Tri, Director of Department of Home Affairs, is a standing member of the Election Committee.

Members of the Election Committee include Head of Provincial Military Command, Director of the provincial Police, Directors of Department of Justice, Health, Culture - Sports and Tourism, Finance, Information and Communications; Head of the provincial Commission of Inspection; Director of Provincial Radio and Television Station; Director of Provincial Statistical Office; and Editor-in-chief of Hau Giang Newspaper. 

The Provincial Election Committee has the duties and powers prescribed in Article 23 of the Law on Election of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies.

The Provincial Election Committee has its own seal and opens an account at the State Treasury of Hau Giang province. Headquarters of the Standing Office of Provincial Election Committee is located at the Department of Home Affairs.

The Provincial Election Committee will dissolve itself after completing its mission./.
