On January 5, Dong Thap Provincial Youth Union launched a 90-day emulation drive to welcome the 13th National Party Congress and the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
Accordingly, in these special 90 days, Dong Thap Provincial Youth Union will carry out a pilot project to plant bamboo at border areas; do 12 nurseries in 1,000 green nurseries in school campuses; supporting new clothes and uniforms for 1,000 students in difficult circumstances; support building 14 toilets and 14 lighting systems and basic necessities and tools for 14 epidemic prevention and control posts in border districts. At the same time, the Provincial Youth Union started to build a new playground for the youth; started construction of at least one rural bridge and handed over a compassionate house.
Right after the launching ceremony, the Vietnam Youth Union of Dong Thap province in Phuong Tra commune, Cao Lanh district, presented five compassionate houses, worth VND50 million; bicycles to students from disadvantaged families; and repaired 2km of degraded road in hamlet 5, Phuong Tra commune./.
