(13th Congress) - The Ho Chi Minh city’s Party Committee on June 25th held a meeting to collect ideas to the draft political report to be submitted to the city’s upcoming Party Congress term 2020-2025.

During the meeting, Nguyen Thien Nhan, Politburo member and Secretary of the city Party Committee, gave a general briefing on socio-economic development, Party and political system building in the city term 2015-2020; the city’s challenges and weaknesses in development; and orientations and tasks for the 2020-2025 term.
He also outlined 8 viewpoints and 6 groups of solutions for the city's development in various fields; 24 city development targets; solutions to build the Party and authority; solutions to improve the quality of mass mobilization work, the Fatherland Front system and socio-political organizations.
Delegates participated in adding ideas on the topic of the Congress; and some targets and orientations, which was recognized and received by Mr. Nhan and the city Party Committee leaders for completing the political report./.
