(13th Congress) - During his attendance at the 11th Tra Vinh provincial Party Congress term 2020-2025 on October 15, Tran Cam Tu, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC Commission on Inspection, has urged the province to focus on building socio-economic development planning for a long-term, making it a foundation for development.

He also asked the province to step up the development of aquaculture, aquatic and marine exploitation and seaport services; shift agricultural production structure towards sustainable and hi-tech production; continue to take care of comprehensive socio-cultural development; constantly improve the people's material and spiritual life; and build a clean and strong political system.
Over the past 5 years, the local economic development was reported with high growth rate of 11.95% per year on average, and GRDP of VND65 million, ranking third in the Mekong River Delta./.
