Accordingly, the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee announced the Prime Minister’s approval decision of the election of Mr. Tran Thang, Deputy Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, as Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial People’s Committee; and assigned Mr. Tran Phong, member of the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee and Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, to join the Executive Board and the Standing Board of the Dong Hoi city Party Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Dong Hoi city Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

The Standing Board of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee assigned tasks to its members. Accordingly, Mr. Tran Hai Chau was asked to give up the position of Head of Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee Commission for Internal Affairs, and take on the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Dinh Huu Thanh left the position of Secretary of the Bo Trach District Party Committee, and took the position of Chairman of Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee Commission for Inspection; Mr. Nguyen Luong Binh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, was assigned to keep the position of Head of the Provincial Party Committee Commission for Internal Affairs; Mr. Tran Vu Khiem left the position of Director of the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports to take the position of Head of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee Commission for Organization.

Mr. Vu Dai Thang, Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee, said that initially, Quang Binh province has completed the assignment of duties of the members of the Standing Board and Executive Board of the Provincial Party Committee. After receiving the assignment decisions, personnel in their new positions will quickly build action programs and plans to ensure the operation of the agencies and party committee in their charge./.
