(13th Congress) - The 16th Hung Yen Provincial People's Council held its 14th session on November 30 to evaluate the socio-economic situation in 2020 and fill key positions of the Provincial People's Council and Provincial People's Committee.
The Hung Yen Provincial People's Council introduced and elected Mr. Tran Quoc Van, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Van Lam District Party Committee, as the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term.
Mr. Tran Quoc Van was born in 1968. He holds a bachelor degree of economics. He is from Yen My district, Hung Yen province.
He has held the positions of Deputy Director of the Hung Yen Provincial Department of Planning and Investment, Director of the Provincial Department of Planning and Investment, Secretary of the Van Lam District Party Committee, and Deputy Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tran Quoc Van promised to make efforts to successfully implement the set targets, and strive to build Hung Yen province to develop rapidly.
At the meeting, the Provincial People’s Council also elected Mr. Pham Van Khue, Deputy Head of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Organization, as Standing Vice Chairman of the Hung Yen Provincial People's Council for the 2016-2021 term; and Mr. Nguyen Hung Nam, Secretary of the Kim Dong District Party Committee, as Deputy Chairman of the Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term./.
