In his speech at the event, Mr. Nguyen Hai Thanh, Secretary of the Vietnam Post Party Committee, said that in spite of difficulties and challenges, the party committee has promoted its role as a leadership nucleus, ensuring unity in management and administration between party and knowledge work in order to carry out comprehensive leadership in all activities.

Revenue of the corporation reached more than VND8.7 trillion in 2015 and the figure increased to over VND25.2 trillion in 2019. Average growth rate posted more than 30% a year. In addition, profit of the corporation also increased nearly 3.5 fold, from VND154 billion in 2015 to VDN535 billion in 2019.

Specifically, to realize the Resolution of the Party Congress in the 2015-2020 term, from 2018, Vietnam Post’s revenue finished 2 years sooner than the target of Resolution of the Congress.

With the motto “Democracy – Discipline – Breakthrough – Development”, the second Party Congress proposed specific orientations and activities to contribute to successfully realizing development strategies until 2030./.
