Delegates of the Kon Tum People’s Council elected the Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee for the 2021-2026 term at a symposium on March 10.
As many as 40 out of 43 participants consented to vote, and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Sam was elected as Deputy Chairman of the Kon Tum People’s Committee.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Sam, 49 years old, is from Tam An commune, Phu Ninh district, Quang Nam province. He has qualifications as Master of Industrial Civil Construction and senior political theory.
Before being elected Deputy Chairman of the Kon Tum People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Sam, member of the Executive Board of the provincial Party Committee, was Secretary of the Sa Thay district Party Committee.
At the event, delegates cast ballots to elect Mr. Nguyen Van Dieu, member of the Executive Board of the provincial Party Committee and Director of the Department of Finance, as member of the provincial People’s Committee.
In addition, the Kon Tum People’s Council also approved 17 resolutions, including 2 personnel resolutions and 15 thematic resolutions./.
