(13th Congress) – The 16th Hai Duong People’s Council has organized a session to consolidate some titles of the provincial People’s Council and People’s Committee in the 2016-2021 period.

At the meeting, the Hai Duong People’s Council released Nguyen Thanh Mai as Deputy Chairwoman of the 16th Hai Duong People’s Council (term 2016-2021) for retirement. At the same time, Nguyen Khac Toan, Head of the Legislation Department of the 16th People’s Council, was elected Deputy Chairman of the 16th provincial People’s Council.
The session released a number of titles of the provincial People’s Council. At the same time, Trinh Thuy Nga was elected Head of the Economics-Budget Department, Bui Hoc Anh was elected Head of the Legislation Department and Nguyen Thi Huong was elected Head of the Culture-Social Affairs Department of the 16th Hai Duong People’s Council.
Also at the event, the Hai Duong People’s Council elected 2 additional Deputy Chairmen of the provincial People’s Committee. Nguyen Minh Hung, Director of the Hai Duong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, won 59 out of 62 votes, equivalent to 95.1%, and Tran Van Quan, Director of the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, won 58 out of 62 votes, equivalent to 93.5%.
Earlier, the Hai Duong People’s Council approved a Resolution releasing Vuong Duc Sang and Luong Van Cau as Deputy Chairmen of the provincial People’s Committee for retirement.
The People’s Council also released 7 members of the 16th Hai Duong People’s Committee (term 2016-2021) due to work change or retirement. At the same time, the Council elected other comrades to the 7 titles./.
