The conference agreed to introduce Mr. Le Trung Chinh, Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang Party Committee and Chairman of the city People's Committee, for nomination as deputy of the People’s Council in the coming term.

At the meeting, 44 voters, who are leaders of departments, districts and units under the city People’s Committee, heard Mr. Ho Ky Minh, Standing Deputy Chairman of the People’s Committee, introducing the background of Mr. Le Trung Chinh.

Mr. Le Trung Chinh is a key officer of Da Nang. He has made many important contributions to the development of the central coastal city in recent years and is a qualified nominee to the city People’s Council in accordance with the current regulations.

Through voting, 100% of the voters agreed with the introduction of Mr. Le Trung Chinh to run for deputy of the People’s Council in the 2021-2026 term.

Mr. Ho Ky Minh, Deputy Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee, said that this is the third step in the process of introducing personnel for the city People’s Council.

Earlier, the city People’s Committee collected ideas of the Executive Board of the Trade Union and voters of the office of the People’s Committee where Mr. Le Trung Chinh is working and received 100% consensus.

Mr. Le Trung Chinh, born on February 20, 1969, is from Hoa Phong commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city. He has earned a Doctorate of Education and BA in Mathematics Teaching.

He has been Director of the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang, Secretary of the Ngu Hanh Son District Party Committee, and Deputy Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee./.
