Mr. Nguyen Van Nen emphasized the development in the Vietnam-RoK strategic cooperation partnership, as well as the results of cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City and Korean localities and partners.

He said that Ho Chi Minh city is looking for partners and resources in a number of development fields; and hoped that the RoK could support and cooperate in training highly-qualified human resources in the fields of information technology, artificial intelligence (AI), health, tourism, urban management, automation and logistics.

Speaker Park Byeong-seug hailed the development potential of Ho Chi Minh City as a leading economic hub of Vietnam, while stressing that the RoK considered this a focus of international integration and strengthening cooperation between the two countries. Korean localities and businesses are ready to cooperate with the southern hub.

He suggested the city continue to create favorable conditions for the Korean community to live, invest and do business in the long term.

Earlier, Mr. Park Byeong-seug held a working session with the Samil Vina and Hyosung companies, based in the southern province of Dong Nai.

The Speaker and his spouse planted trees and visited the companies’ factories./.
