As a result, resources have been mobilized from people and businesses, including money, land and working days to serve social welfare and help localities promptly realize criteria in building new style rural areas.

From good mass mobilization models, there have been reported diverse outstanding collectives and individuals, bringing practical efficiency in helping people escape poverty, developing cultural lifestyle in residential areas, addressing urgent issues at the grassroots level, and reinforcing the political system.

As of late September, 61 of 119 communes were recognized to reach new style rural areas criteria.

The province has also encouraged people to focus on large-scale production and shift agricultural production by increasing the breeding industry and planting vegetables and fruits, using high technologies. As a result, income per capita increased from VND30.9 million per year in the 2011-2015 period to VND46.8 million in the 2016-2020 period. The poverty rate was reduced by 1.5% per year, to 1.93% in 2020.

To promote the results, the provincial Party Committee has directed to continue to better mass mobilization; increase administrative reform; and satisfy people’s aspirations./.
