Praising the province’s results over the past 5 years, which she said had contributed to the whole nation’s efforts in realizing the 12th National Party Congress resolution, the NA Standing Vice Chairwoman suggested that in the new term, Hung Yen should carry out 3 breakthrough steps, including investment attraction, building of infrastructure and improvement of personnel work.
“The province should give priority to large-scale and hi-tech projects, supportive industrial and digital industrial sectors,” she said, stressing the need to restructure agricultural production by applying more advanced technologies into production; and encouraging enterprises to link together and seek consumption markets of agricultural products, especially foreign markets.
The political report submitted to the provincial Party Congress showed that in the 2015-2020 period, Hung Yen province realized a majority of criteria set in the last provincial Party Congress.
Over the past 5 years, it has boosted comprehensive socio-economic development and maintained rapid economic development, at an average of 8.38% per year.
In particular, 24 years after the province’s re-establishment, its budget collection has increased by nearly 200 times.
Hung Yen has become a destination for domestic and foreign investors, with 816 projects, an increase of 34.4% compared to the 2010-2015 period, while the export turnover has been reported to increase by 16.19% per year on average./.
