After considering the report of the Election Commission of Dak Nong Province, the National Election Council agreed to allow 12 border posts and 19 Mobile Training Battalions in Dak Nong province to vote one day earlier in comparision with regulations.

Up to now, the preparation for the election at the border units has been carried out on time and in accordance with the Election Law.
Colonel Pham Quy Vy, Deputy Political Commissar, Command of Dak Nong provincial Border Guard, said that over the past time, there have been unpredictable complexities about the COVID-19 pandemic at Vienam-Cambodia border lines. In order to ensure absolute safety for the election, the border guards asked to vote early to perform a dual task of protecting the border and preventing the COVID-19 epidemic.
According to Colonel Pham Quy Vy, currently 12 border posts, mobile training battalions and headquarters of Command of Dak Nong provincial Border Guard have established their own constituencies. The border guard station has created the list of officials and soldiers who vote at their units.
In the future, the border posts will continue to implement the contents of the instructions of their superiors. Accordingly, the implementation of the election one day early will make the units do well the management and protection of the border./.
