The exhibition is one of numerous events attracting a large number of participants, including Vietnamese and Australian friends.
At the exhibition, viewers not only contemplate humanity and artistry, but also aim to raise funds to support residents in the Central region.
Mr. Quang Nguyen said that over two weeks ago, news on floods happened continuously in the Central region had prompted him to do something to make a small contribution to help people who are suffering from the devastation of natural disasters.
Then he unexpectedly received an invitation from the International Institute of Art and Photography of Australia (IAAP), so photographer Quang Nguyen decided to organize an exhibition and sell photos on a small scale to raise funds to support residents in the Central region.
The exhibition, displaying 32 photos recording bright smiles of Vietnamese people and those in places where Mr. Quang Nguyen had visited right before the COVID-19 outbreak, will be open to everyone to visit and buy photos until November 15.
On the first day, nearly 40 photos were sold. In addition, he also received voluntary contributions from his friends and those who attended the event.
Mr. Quang Nguyen believes that the exhibition is also an opportunity for the Vietnamese community in Australia to meet and join hands to look toward the homeland.
All proceeds from the sale of photos and fund-raising launched by the Vietnam Business Association in Sydney will be transferred to Vietnam for humanitarian organizations to help the residents of Central Vietnam./.
