At the meeting, the 16th Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Council introduced personnel for election as Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Accordingly, Ms. Hoang Thi Thuy Lan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee andHead of the National Assembly deputies delegation of Vinh Phuc province, was introduced and elected as the Chairwoman of the Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Council with 100% of votes.

Mr. Le Duy Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, was introduced and elected as the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee with 100% of votes.

Ms. Hoang Thi Thuy Lan, born in 1966, from Ngo Quyen ward, Vinh Yen city, Vinh Phuc province, has a Master's in Law from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Ms. Lan was elected as Secretary of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee from February 2015. Before being elected Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Ms. Hoang Thi Thuy Lan held many positions such as Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Commission, Chairwoman of the Provincial Party Committee’s Inspection Commission, and Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission.

Mr. Le Duy Thanh, born in 1969, is from Vu Di commune, Vinh Tuong district, Vinh Phuc province. He is a Doctor of Economics.

Previously, he held positions of Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Standing Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, and Secretary of the Lap Thach district Party Committee./.
