(13th Congress) - The 11th session of the 14th National Assembly (NA) is expected to be organized from March 24 to April 7, according to NA Secretary-General Nguyen Hanh Phuc.

He announced the information during the 53rd session of the 14th NA Standing Committee on February 23.
Regarding the preparations for the 11th session of the 14th NA, delegates said that as planned, the session would focus on reviewing the work of the 14th NA, the summary report of the Government’s working term, the Presidents of the People’s Supreme Court and the People's Supreme Procuracy, the State Audit Office of Vietnam, and deciding important issues. The session will spend six and a half days of 11 working days on personnel work.
During the 53rd session of the 14th NA Standing Committee, Tong Thi Phong, Politburo member and Standing Deputy Chairwoman of the NA, stressed that the upcoming session of the 14th NA needed to complete the positions for the State apparatus.
According to Ms Phong, the preparations for the positions must be carried out scientifically, exactly and promptly.
Addressing the session, Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Politburo member and Chairwoman of the NA, said that the preparations would be submitted to the Politburo for comments.
“Based on the law on NA organization, positions elected by the NA and adopted in the NA resolutions, will take over the work immediately without ratification,” she said./.
