New Vietnamese leaders highlighted on Egyptian press

The Egyptian news magazine eventsmagazinenews on April 5 published commentary by journalist Ahmed Hassan with the title "Many good expectations for the new Government of Vietnam" in which it noted the outstanding performance of the Vietnamese Government for the 2016-2021 tenure, highlighting Vietnam's success in 2020 overcoming the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and gaining economic growth. Vietnam has successfully realized its dual goals of both fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic effectively and boosting socio-economic development.

The article introduced new Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, a member of the Politburo and the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam term XIII, who had experience in many important positions. The article showed its expectation that with his leadership experience and spirit of renovation and drastic action, he would lead the Vietnamese Government to overcome difficulties and challenges to successfully complete strategic goals in the next 5 years.

The e-newspaper "Homeland" of Egypt (Eldyar) on April 5 published an article "Vietnam elects new leaders and the prospect of increasing trade with Egypt to USD1 billion", which informed of the election of a new State President and Prime Minister by the National Assembly of Vietnam with a high approval rate. This will further boost Vietnam's foreign relations, including Vietnam-Egypt bilateral relations, with a target of raising trade turnover to USD1 billion. The article believed that the new Prime Minister of Vietnam will have favorable economic policies towards the Middle East - Africa, including Egypt.

Many other Arabic-language newspapers of Egypt, such as the Constitution (Dostor), Today's Public (algomhorianow), and National Resonance (Sadaelomma), also reported positively on the results of the new high-ranking Vietnamese leadership./.
