(13th Congress) - In the ceremony to receive decision of the Politburo on personnel work, new Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung has pledged to do his utmost to lead the city Party Committee, authority and people to successfully realize the 13th National Party Congress resolution.

“I am deeply aware that the assigned tasks are both an honor and a great responsibility with the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat and the Hanoi Party Committee, authority and people,” he said. “Therefore, I will try my best to fulfill the political tasks assigned by the Party, the State and the people.”
During the ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung’s predecessor, expressed his trust in his successor.
According to NA Chairman Hue, during his term as Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, he realized well the city’s issues, from economic issues to Party building, socio-economic development, ensuring of defence and security, or care for revolutionary contributors.
Quoting Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at the Hanoi Party Congress at the end of 2020, NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue emphasized that Hanoi is the capital of a thousand years of culture, the face and the heart of the country. The city was also recognized by UNESCO as a city for peace, and then recognized in the list of creative cities network of the world.
The NA Chairman stressed that as the largest Party Committee in the country, the Hanoi Party Committee needs to unite, be wise and creative to overcome any possible challenges and difficulties./.
