At the meeting, Ms. Dao Hong Lan, Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee, briefed on the province’s socio-economic development in the past years with many targets at the top of the country. She highlighted the successful organization of the 20th Communist Party Congress of Bac Ninh province, term 2020 - 2025 as well as the realization of "dual tasks" of both promoting socio-economic development and fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic.

She hoped for the continued attention from Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan as well as central ministries and branches so that the province would successfully complete its set targets and plans, thus becoming a centrally-run city.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan congratulated on the provincial Communist Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025, creating a new spirit and resilience in the next period. At the same time, he pointed out that Bac Ninh needed to increase the localization rate of products; speed up urban infrastructure together with environmental protection, supply clean water and upgrade transport network towards a smart city model, creating a premise for Bac Ninh to become a centrally-run city in the near future./.
