On the occasion of the 90th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Mass Mobilisation Commission Truong Thi Mai attended a great national unity festival in Tri Yen Commune, Yen Dung District, Bac Giang Province on November 12.
At the event, Politburo member Mai lauded Tri Yen’s Party organisation, authorities and people for their achievements gained in recent times, including earning certification as a new-style rural area in July 2020.
She encouraged the locality to work harder in realising the goal of making Bac Giang among the country’s top 15 cities and provinces in terms of economic size by 2025 and developing Yen Dung into a new-style rural district next year, as outlined in the Resolution of the Provincial Party Committee’s congress, the NDO reported.
Underlining opportunities for Tri Yen to further grow, Mai expressed her hope that the commune will continue working towards becoming an improved and model new-style rural area in the next 1-2 years.
Tri Yen community must build a pure and strong political system and pay greater care to disadvantaged people in the locality, she stressed.
On the occasion, the Party Central Committee’s Mass Mobilisation Commission, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and provincial leaders presented 10 “great unity” houses to Tri Yen Commune and gifts to five exemplary households as well as 10 poor but excellent students in the locality./.
