The second session of the Hanoi Public Security Party Executive Committee, term 2020-2025 took place on October 29 with the attendance of Party Central Committee member, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee and Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Chu Ngoc Anh.
Talking about the work over the previous months and the tasks for final months of this year, major general Dao Thanh Hai, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Public Security Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Hanoi Public Security, said the Hanoi Public Security Party Committee had effectively realized the resolutions and directives issued by the Central Public Security Party Committee, the Ministry of Public Security, the Hanoi Party Committee and Hanoi People’s Committee in ensuring political security, social order and safety.
According to Major general Hai, key targets, political and diplomatic events, and activities of the Party and State leaders were held in complete security. “The city public security has also curbed and reduced the number of criminals while a majority of corruption prevention criteria have been completed,” he said.
Major general Nguyen Hai Trung, Secretary of the Hanoi Public Security Party Committee and Director of the Hanoi Public Security, said that in the following months, the public security forces would give consultancy to Party organizations and authorities to completely deal with disputes; and carry out plans to ensure security and safety for the 13th National Party Congress.
“The city will also increase the struggle against criminals; and update the database on citizens to serve the project on the national database of population,” he added.
Addressing the session, Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Chu Ngoc Anh stressed that the city’s socio-economic results marked the role, position and important contributions from the city public security.
Talking about near future tasks, he urged the forces to give continued effective consultancy to the city People’s Committee in ensuring political security and social order, and strictly deal with violations in traffic safety, environment, urban order and firefighting./.
