Financial sector requested to effectively use capital resources

On behalf of leaders of the Party and State, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Member of the Politburo and Chairman of the Central Council for Emulation and Rewards, attended and directed the congress.

Party General Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Tran Thanh Man also sent flowers to the congress.

The congress was organized to evaluate and summarize the results achieved in the emulation and reward work of the finance sector over the past 5 years. At the same time, it also aimed to draw lessons from experience and set out directions, goals, tasks and solutions to effectively implement emulation and reward work for the next five years.

The congress is also an opportunity to honour and multiply the typical collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement of the finance sector; exchange lessons of experience, and continue to develop the emulation movement of the sector, really motivating and contributing to the successful implementation of the political tasks of the finance sector.

Speaking at the congress, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc urged the financial sector to mobilise and effectively use capital resources in order to increase potential for the national economy.

The Prime Minister said suitable financial mechanisms would help to optimize resources and create momentum for economic development.

The Government leader asked the sector to further boost financial, insurance and audit markets, expand the network of investors and step up administrative reforms.

Over the past five years, patriotic emulation movements of the financial sector have seen many positive changes with various practical contents and forms, becoming a great driving force for the successful implementation of the common political tasks of the finance sector. Many advanced examples, new models, good and creative ways through emulation movements have been replicated.

Through emulation movements, many outstanding examples in fields create driving force for cadres and civil servants of the whole sector to emulate and strive to complete all assigned tasks, contributing to help the finance sector successfully implement finance – budget tasks for the 2016-2020 period assigned by the Party, National Assembly and government./.
