Mr. Vo Ngoc Thanh, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, on November 3 handed over a decision on receiving and appointing three former leaders of the Provincial People's Council and heads of bloc and commission of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee.
Accordingly, the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee received and appointed Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tien, former Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises’ Bloc, to the position of Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Gia Lai province.
Mr. Dang Phan Chung, former Vice Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Council, was received and appointed as Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.
Mr. Nguyen Van Quan, former Head of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee’s Organization Commission, was received and appointed as Deputy Director of the Provincial Forest Protection and Development Fund.
Previously, Mr. Dang Phan Chung and Nguyen Van Quan were subject to the Central Inspection Commission to enforce discipline in the form of warning in July and August respectively.
At the 16th Gia Lai Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term held in late September, Mr. Chung and Mr. Quan were introduced but they were not elected to the Executive Board of the 16th Provincial Party Committee./.
