(13th Congress) - A delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, led by Deputy Minister and Chairman of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs Dang Minh Khoi, has worked with leaders of the southern province of Ba Ria – Vung Tau.
Mr. Pham Viet Thanh, PCC member and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, gave souvenirs to Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Dang Minh Khoi
At the working, Mr. Pham Viet Thanh briefly informed about the socio-economic situation of the province in the Jan-Oct period of 2020, while reporting about the relationship and cooperation between Ba Ria – Vung Tau and Russia.
The Secretary said that Ba Ria – Vung Tau now has about 3,000 Russian experts and people living and working in the province. The two-sided investment cooperation currently focuses on the fields of oil and gas services, tourism, shipping and construction, in which the Vietnam - Russia Joint Venture (Vietsovpetro) has become a symbol of friendship between the two countries.
He wished that Mr. Dang Minh Khoi, as Ambassador of Vietnam to Russia, would continue to be a bridge to tighten and further enhance the cooperative relations between Russia and Vietnam in general and Ba Ria – Vung Tau in particular.
In his speech, Deputy Minister Dang Minh Khoi congratulated Ba Ria – Vung Tau for successfully organizing the 7th Party Congress. He hoped the province would increasingly develop, while affirming that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would continue to coordinate and assist the locality to organize investment promotion activities and enhance cooperation on the province’s strengths in Russia./.
