(13th Congress) - The Hanoi Party Committee on March 1 organised a meeting to donate money to the fund for sea and islands, in response to the appeal of the Hanoi Fatherland Front.

Accordingly, each cadre, officer and labourer donated the salary of at least one working day. As a result, the organizing committee collected VND150 million at the meeting.
Since 2009, the Hanoi Party Committee has sent delegations each year to visit and encourage the army forces and residents on Spratly Islands and the DK1 framehouse. As of 2020, the city mobilized over VND380 billion to support the building of 8 guest houses and cultural houses on Spratly Islands. The projects have prompted their efficiency, making important contributions to protecting the nation’s sea and island sovereignty.
Most recently, in July, Hanoi presented VND38 billion from the fund for sea and islands to the High Command of the Navy Force to build a multi-functional cultural house on Spratly Islands./.
