(13th Congress) - On April 13, in Ho Chi Minh City, the US Government held an online seminar to promote US-Vietnam cooperation in the development of Vietnam's aviation infrastructure.

The workshop was organized by the American Aviation Industry group in an effort to strengthen cooperation with Vietnamese public-private partners, helping Vietnam to modernize and develop its aviation infrastructure safely and effectively, and prepare for direct flights between the two countries.
During the seminar, representatives from more than 80 public and private sectors from both countries discussed opportunities and areas of cooperation, as both countries prepare for direct flights. Leading US companies including Autodesk, Boeing, Collins Aerospace, Haskell, Honeywell, Miter, Rapiscan, JBT Aerotech, Turner Construction, and Tyco Security shared practical experiences and innovative solutions in airport development.
In addition, the seminar was attended by the US Federal Aviation Administration, the US Transportation Security Administration, the US Department of Commerce, and the US Trade Development Agency. All focus on close cooperation with Vietnam to develop a safe and efficient air transport industry.
US Government agencies are working to provide a wide range of support in the professional, technical and financial areas, from the planning stage to pilot projects. Representatives from the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam and the Airports Corporation of Vietnam shared information regarding the Vietnam aviation infrastructure development plan./.
