A national conference was co-organized by the PCC Commission for Organization, the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Working Board of the National Assembly Standing Committee on July 1st to summarize party building work in the first half of the year and to realize key tasks for the second half.

The important event aims to continue directing, speeding up and well implementing Directive 35 of the Politburo on all-level party congresses, toward the 13th National Party Congress; realize Conclusion 75 on the orientation of personnel work of the Party Central Committee (term 13) and Directive 45 of the Politburo on leading the election of the 15th National Assembly deputies and the all-level People’s Council deputies for the 2021-2026 term.
Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Head of the PCC Commission for Organization Nguyen Thanh Binh said that as of June 20th, 94% of grassroots party organizations nationwide organized congresses, in which 1,665 congresses saw secretaries elected directly.
In his speech, Politburo member, Secretary of the PCC and Head of the PCC Commission for Organization Pham Minh Chinh recognized and hailed achievements in party building work and political system building in the first half of 2020.
He asked agencies and localities to arrange personnel work in a serious spirit, suitable to the work, while requesting agencies and units to grasp and forecast the situation; promote democracy and make decisions by majority in party building work./.
