At the session, Quang Binh Provincial People;s Council elected Mr. Tran Thang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Chairman of Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee, term 2016-2021 with 47/47 votes.
Mr. Thang was born in 1966. His homeland is Quang Phuong commune, Quang Trach district, Quang Binh province.
At the 17th Quang Binh Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025, Mr. Thang was elected Deputy Secretary of Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee. He used to hold the position of Secretary of Ba Don Town Party Committee and Secretary of Quang Trach District Party Committee.
Quang Binh Provincial People’s Council elected Mr. Tran Hai Chau, Deputy Secretary of Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of the 17th Quang Binh Provincial People’s Council, term 2016-2021 with 45 out of 47 votes./.
