Vietnam is a member of most international and regional organizations, and has signed agreements and statements with many countries on strategic partnership in many different forms.

The article also points out that although Vietnam’s economy has achieved remarkable success, it is still lagging behind many ASEAN countries; science and technology are still at a relatively low level, there is a risk of falling behind, even lagging behind many countries in the region and around the world. In addition, corruption is also an alarming problem, which is considered a "national disaster" and "internal invader".
