The article, published in the Multipolar World magazine on January 12, highlighted Vietnam’s outstanding achievements under the leadership of the Communist Party, and expressed confidence that Vietnam will become "a prosperous and happy country", "a socialist oriented developed country".

The article emphasizes that the 13th National Party Congress will take place less than a year after its 90th anniversary. Reviewing the glorious historical achievements of the Vietnamese Communist Party over the past 90 years, the author emphasizes that the Communist Party of Vietnam, founded by President Ho Chi Minh, from the first days of operation to now has not stopped being a creative Party, having daring decisions, gathering the solidarity and strength of the whole nation.

These strategies have become a powerful weapon in the struggle to liberate the nation from enemy invasion, as well as in the construction and development of the country in peacetime.

The article highlights the country's historic turning point at the 6th National Party Congress. The congress adopted the policy of "Doi Moi" - a new strategic way to develop the country, help stabilize society, come down from the brink of economic crisis and ensure the country's successful development.

According to the article, in the 1970s-1980s, Vietnam was among the 25 poorest countries in the world, after 10 years of innovation, Vietnam was among the world's leading countries in terms of economic growth rate.

Over the past 25-30 years, Vietnam has been maintaining an annual economic growth rate of 5-7%. Despite the difficult period of the COVID-19 pandemic, while the GDP of most countries was negative, the Vietnamese economy still grew positively. Vietnam has been successful in pandemic control, with only 35 deaths per 100 million people so far.

In terms of foreign affairs, the country's successful development has been driven by multilateral foreign policy activities, through all bilateral and multilateral relations channels. Vietnam’s responsible foreign policy has made an important contribution to maintaining peace and stability in the region, as well as in implementing socio-economic development goals and protecting the country's sovereignty.

In 2020, Vietnam was elected as a Non-Permanent Member of the United Nations Security Council and as ASEAN Chair. Vietnam has successfully assumed the dual mission. Vietnam is a member of most international and regional organizations, and has signed agreements and statements with many countries on strategic partnership in many different forms.

The article also points out that although Vietnam’s economy has achieved remarkable success, it is still lagging behind many ASEAN countries; science and technology are still at a relatively low level, there is a risk of falling behind, even lagging behind many countries in the region and around the world. In addition, corruption is also an alarming problem, which is considered a "national disaster" and "internal invader". The recession of ideology, politics, morality, and unhealthy lifestyles also demand special attention in the process of Party building.

Ending the article, the author expresses his belief in a bright future for the Vietnamese people, and believes that under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Vietnam can achieve the goal of developing the country into "a prosperous and happy country "and by the mid-21st century, Vietnam will become 'a developed country with socialist orientation'"./.
