Strengthening discipline and raising the responsibility of leaders are among breakthrough contents of the 2020-2025 term of the Dong Nai Party Committee, said Mr. Nguyen Phu Cuong, PCC member, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council, at an online conference held on January 6.

Mr. Nguyen Phu Cuong said that, inheriting and promoting the achievements and overcoming the shortcomings that existed over the past time, during this term, the Dong Nai Party Committee set a goal of developing the locality comprehensively as an industrial center of airport services and deep-water port, an international trade gate, one of the important growth poles of the southern key economic region and the country by 2025.
In order to successfully realize the goal, the Party Committee focuses on mobilizing resources to invest in developing synchronous and modern infrastructure systems with the focus on urban and rural transport infrastructure and regional traffic; developing organic agriculture and hi-tech application agriculture in the direction of commodity production; and developing trade and services in which Dong Nai has advantages with the focus on tourism and logistics services.
Secretary Cuong asked participants to suggest comments on the draft plan of implementing the Resolution of the 11th Dong Nai Party Congress in various fields, and propose feasible solutions which are suitable to the reality of the locality.
At the event, representatives of the Dong Nai People’s Committee and related departments and agencies discussed topics on socio-economic development, national defense and security assurance and Party building work for the 2020-2025 term./.
