(13th Congress) - The Ho Chi Minh city Election Committee on April 6 organized the 8th meeting, presided over by Ms. Nguyen Thi Le, Deputy Secretary of the city Party Committee, Chairwoman of the city People’s Council and President of the Committee.

According to the city Election Committee, after the second consultation meeting, Thu Duc city, districts, precincts, communes and towns organized meetings with voters and actively popularized the information about the election.
In the near future, the committee will focus on reviewing voters list as scheduled, before April 13, organizing training courses on how to use software on election, and receiving and resolving complaints about the list of voters.
In her speech, Ms. Nguyen Thi Le hailed the efforts of 5 districts and Thu Duc city in preparing for the election over the past time. She suggested that the five districts and Thu Duc city should continue to promote popularization among people to help them understand more about their rights and obligations in the election.
She asked members of the Ho Chi Minh city Election Committee to strengthen inspection and supervision over election areas, with the focus on inspection of fire prevention, environmental sanitation and COVID-19 prevention./.
