Donating 3,000 calendars to border and island soldiers (Source: CPV)

These 3,000 calendar blocks were donated by the publishing agencies and the Publishing Association as a spiritual cultural publication, welcoming the New Year and Spring to the army units. This is a customary cultural activity before the arrival of New Year and the coming of spring, contributed so the soldiers have a cultural publication in the spirit of celebrating the New Year and the Spring.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Nguyen, Director of Publishing, Printing and Publishing Department under the Ministry of Information and Communication, and Vice President of Vietnam Publishing Association, said that the 2021 bloc calendar conveys useful messages. This is an opportunity to transfer, through the calendars, the feelings of the rear and of the publishers, to the soldiers on the occasion of lunar New Year. 

Colonel Van Ngoc Que, Vice Chairman of the Border Guard, on behalf of officers and soldiers on duty at the border, received the meaningful spiritual gift. At the same time, he affirmed that the bloc calendar is a meaningful cultural and spiritual gift, contributing to the encouragement of officials and soldiers in border and island areas; and pledged to quickly deliver the gifts to officers and soldiers./.
